I am Heather C. Sweeney, a writer and artist living in San Diego. I also teach at San Diego State University in the College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts and the Honors College.  In 2016, I earned an M.F.A. from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics where I was the Allen Ginsberg Fellow. 

I had two full-length poetry collections published in 2020 and I am currently delving into fiction and working on a novel. 

My artwork has been commissioned by private clients across the country and has been featured in several publications including The Art Insider, Muzique Magazine, and Authority Magazine.
